What does the AI Basic Course cover?
The AI Basic Course introduces artificial intelligence and thoughtful everyday use of AI tools. A useful starting point is understanding that an AI-generated answer is something to examine, not automatically a reliable fact. Clear instructions, relevant context and careful review help you judge whether a result addresses your original question.
The THSM Tech outline covers AI fundamentals, useful prompts, checking AI answers and responsible use. These topics support simple decisions: what to ask, which information to leave out, what needs verification, and when to seek a person's guidance. The focus is a foundation for working with AI thoughtfully.
Suitability and preparation
This beginner course may suit students who want an introduction before attempting a more specialized AI workflow. Ask the academy to confirm placement, device requirements and which tools are used for the relevant batch. Account access, tool conditions and any separate subscription costs need confirmation rather than assumption.

Example practice project: improve a prompt
For example, ask for a short explanation of a familiar everyday topic using fictional context. Compare a vague instruction with one that names the audience, desired length and purpose. Check the result against a reliable reference and note anything unclear or unsupported.

Practice that counts
Course activities may include guided lessons, practical assignments, live sessions and assessments. Your portal shows the exact requirements for your enrolled course. Certificates follow successful completion of the required activities, or administrator confirmation of classes already completed with the academy.
Age and course suitability
We welcome students from age 8. Course placement depends on readiness. Students under 18 need a parent-managed account; third-party tools may have additional age requirements. Marketing and advertising topics use supervised practice.
