What are SEO, AEO and GEO?

SEO, or search engine optimization, helps search engines discover and understand a website's content. AEO, or answer engine optimization, focuses on giving clear, useful answers to users' questions. GEO, or generative engine optimization, describes improving how information can be understood and cited in AI-generated answers.

These areas overlap around helpful content, accurate information and accessible pages. The THSM Tech outline covers search intent and content planning, on-page and technical fundamentals, answer-ready content, and responsible visibility measurement. A useful starting point is understanding what a visitor needs before deciding how to present the answer.

Suitability and preparation

This subject may suit students interested in websites, research and clear writing. Consider whether you enjoy comparing a question with the information a page actually provides. Ask the academy about expected website experience, device requirements and the tools used for demonstrations. Access to reporting or website accounts and any separate tool charges should be confirmed before enrollment.

Search positions and AI citations depend on external systems; a course, plugin or technical score cannot guarantee them. If your main interest is creating and distributing social content, compare the Social Media Marketing course.

Example practice project: improve a useful page

For example, choose a fictional service page and identify the question it should answer. Draft a descriptive title, a short introduction and headings that organize the key information. Check whether its links make sense, its claims can be supported, and a visitor can find the next step.

Write down what you changed and how you would assess the result without claiming a guaranteed ranking. Illustrative example; actual activities are confirmed for your cohort. The project planning guide can help define a manageable scope.

Current course availability

The sidebar contains the academy's current enrollment status, schedule and fees. Confirm the next cohort, required tools and actual activities before joining. Use the planned outline below to discuss suitability with the academy.

Planned course outline

  1. Search intent and content planning
  2. On-page and technical fundamentals
  3. Answer-ready content
  4. Measuring visibility responsibly

Practice that counts

Course activities may include guided lessons, practical assignments, live sessions and assessments. Your portal shows the exact requirements for your enrolled course. Certificates follow successful completion of the required activities, or administrator confirmation of classes already completed with the academy.

Age and course suitability

We welcome students from age 8. Course placement depends on readiness. Students under 18 need a parent-managed account; third-party tools may have additional age requirements. Marketing and advertising topics use supervised practice.
